Sorry if this is a bit long....

Started the weekend at Pangaea in Bennington. A really tasty Amuse bouche of sausage and roasted cheese; next an app of goat cheese flan , toasted raisin bread and roasted pistachios, which sounded so much better than it was....next a really nice bonus salad with dinner that was not mentioned on the menu or by our server, salad wrapped in noodle paper with sesame noodles; dinner of halibut on mashed, nothing special...overall a nice meal with good service.

Next day Zoe's in Manchester for lunch after a bit of shopping. Cool place, we split a really good turkey sandwich, on homemade oatmeal bread and homemade chips. DH had amish chicken noodle soup which was very good. I wish I had this place in my neighborhood!

Leunig in Burlington for dinner. DH had apps for dinner of calamari, peppered saalami and one more I can't recall. I had the Salmon with rhubarb ginger glaze which came with fried rice and Brussel slaw. My dinner was really tasty, just wish it had been a bit hotter. DH had ice cream and chocolate sauce for dessert and they were a bit light handed on the sauce....Overall a really nice restaurant and dinner, great window seats for people watching.

El Cortijo Taqueria for a snack of Nachos which were very good, and not loaded down like you typically get. I would have liked to try more of this place but not enough time....if you get there, do check out the bathrooms...

Farmhouse for dinner. DH was pleased with the tap selection as someone else had previously mentioned. Both of us got burgers which were a bit small but good. Fries were really good. They messed up our order a bit on the burgers which was a bit annoying since our waiter wasn't writing anything down. We sort of got it fixed, then realized when i was done that I also didn't get my pickled onions... Ok place, nothing special.

Next night we came back to Farmhouse just for the beer and sat in the beer garden before heading out for dinner at their sister restaurant Pascolo. Nice outdoor seating and good service. I had the Fennel sausage and pasta which was really good. DH had spaghetti and meatballs and said if he lived near this place he would be eating here frequently.

Breakfast 2 mornings at Feldman's bagels. Really good salt bagels which I can't find many places and DH really liked the smoked salmon. Also really cheap day old bagels for 2.00 @ 1/2 dozen.

Lunch at the Trapp family lodge on the patio. We both had really good salads, one of duck confit and one Caesar with a generous portion of salmon.

A stop at the Cider mill to sample the cider, very good, and a cider donut which was good, but nothing that wowed me...

Lastly a touristy stop at the Ben and Jerry's factory and were treated to the sample of the day of salted caramel blondie, very good! And I learned that VT creemies are equivelant to our soft serves....and our tour guide gets 3 pints of ice cream a day!

Also food related,but not much eating, a stop at King Arthur in Norwich to browse...only ended up buying some white chocolate and 2 bags of cinnamon chips:). Oh, and some homemade graham crackers which were really good.

After we had lunch at a noodle place in Hanover, which we should have skipped....

Thanks for all the previous recommendations and tips! Hounds always have such great info and feedback, it makes planning the food part of the trip so fun! Now if we could only get some of your beers at home.....
