This board has been a great source of ideas for my "personal" eating time, now I need to tap all of your knowledge for professional use...
I need to stage a lunchtime event for about 20-35 people. It will be a sit down lunch with several speakers. Most of the attendees are older (70+) people. Parking needs to be pretty easy, atmosphere should be pleasant, not too stuffy but not too casual.
The food needs to be of a sort that would be acceptable to a group of mainly older people, so nothing too spicy or "ethnic." A place that does fish well would be great. This is not necessarily a houndish crowd. Think Legal Seafood more than Dok Bua or Uncle Pete's.
Based on their locations, somewhere in Newton, Brookline or Chestnut Hill would be good, but I'd look in Needham or the western edge of Boston as well.
