Veggie Side Dish for non-traditional Turkey day?

foxspirit | Nov 24, 201408:43 AM     17

So my family is chinese and likes mainly asian flavors. Also, most of them do not like turkey. As such, we have a very non traditional Thanksgiving day feast generally. We also try to keep it on the healthy side since family members have health issues. As I'm hosting this year, I'm trying for a but more of a fusion flavored menu, This will be for 6 people and this year I have planned so far:

Roasted garlic cauliflower soup
Ginger Soy Pan Seared Cod
Rabbit braised with shallots and prunes
Miso sesame roasted acorn squash quarters
white rice (no this starch can not change or my dad will throw a fit)

Pumpkin swiss roll
Apple phyllo purse

I feel it needs another veggie dish or two. Any suggestions as to what would fit in? No salads please.
