I was hoping that some of the steak connoisseurs on this board might be able to help me out with the following queries: what's the difference between the USDA prime beef and Alberta AAA beef? Is there a discernable difference between the two in taste? The reason for my query is that I understand that Harbour Sixty along with Morton's/Ruth Chris's sersve the USDA prime whereas Hy's serves AAA? I'm trying to pick a toronto steakhouse where my boyfriend can take me for my birthday. I have already been to Barberians (wouldn't mind another visit) and Hy's (it was ok) but was thinking about trying out Ruth Chris's or Harbour. Any of your suggestions/comments would be appreciated.
