Family is coming from out of town to see our new digs near NYU and then we're going to lunch. We need something not too expensive, not too adventurous in cuisine type and not far from Washington Square Village (one person can't walk too far). A De Marco's type place would be perfect but by all accounts that particular place isn't that good. Otherwise, it's the right cuisine, right locale, right price so what else would work?
Note: Indian is out as one person doesn't like it.
IFC cafe is probably already too far for the person who can't walk far, so that sort of gives you the neighborhood we're working with -- Broadway to 6th, around the touristy area of Bleecker and Thompson/MacDougal, etc, cross streets.
