There is a very old post from 1999 that I was hoping we could update on best steakhouses in Westchester. Next Monday is my birthday and normally I'd go to Benjamin's in Hartsdale where I have had very good steak every year. But they are closed on Mondays. I've had good luck in the past with Capital Grille, but would prefer to avoid traveling to Paramus or Stamford.

The original post highlighted Flames in Briarcliff, which has since opened up a restaurant in Elmsford. Also since then, we have seen the arrival of BLT (not rately as highly on Yelp) in White Plains and Morton's in White Plains (a little pricier). Ruth's Chris in Tarrytown is nothing special IMO.

Where has everyone been in Westchester that they really like for steak?
