Update on Chinese in MONTCO Burbs

Just wanted to post some news on a new Chinese in Lansdale and give my input on a few others in the area. Keep in mind this is coming from a vegetarian(but i always eat with carnivores, and highly regard their opinions). Tonight my boyfriend and i tried take out from a place in Lansdale down the road from me that is relatively new called Chong Dumpling House(13 W Main St. BYOB 215 855 4812). So good! My boyfriend and i have tried numerous Chinese restaurants in and around Philly, and regard Chong's dumplings as tied for the best, along with Ray's Cafe and Teahouse in Chinatown. We also got cold sesame noodles(delicious peanut sauce and thick noodles); vegetarian tofu and vegtable soup(the best i have ever had); and he got an eggroll(he loved it). All that plus Three flavor Boiled Dumpligs and Vegetable Dumplings(10 pieces each) cost around $14. VERY good food and good price. In other Chinese food news, Abacus, in Lansdale on Valley Forge Rd., is still going strong, and is a great value for BYOB with nice atmosphere and the chef will make pretty much anything you want, if not seen on the menu. Lai Lai Garden, in Blue Bell on DeKalb Pk, is not anything to make you drive out there if not already in the area. Had heard great things about it, and have been 5 times, and never really impressed me or my family or friends. Very average for what you pay. FuziOn on Rt 73 past Skippack is great and very reasonably priced. BYOB. Almost like CinCin but cheaper and they take reservations. Speaking of Cin Cin, still my all time favorite.
