Went Fri. to 500 Jackson, arrived early to enjoy their happy hour special $1.50 oysters&shrimp $5.00 "Martini". Very pleasant service nice vibe at bar. Sat early in no mans land for dinner but, still it wasn't that bad when the section started to fill up. The bisque was a wonderful as i remembered, the crab cake was actually crab which we loved, the one thing we would ask is a little lighter on the sauce and bit more heat would be nice. Also had another 1/2 dozen oysters (reg. price). Entree was cedar planked Salmon and spinach and a side of Risotto. The salmon was cooked to my liking med. rare the spinach was wonderful. The risotto though had great flavor the rice was just not cooked through, it basically was crunchy. For dessert we had a bannana sundae with vanilla ice cream although childish in nature the bannanas were carmalized and added a grown-up feel. For wine we had a white from Spain it comes by the glass which the server gave us a sample of befor ordering the bottle. Total bill I believe was $120 not including generous gratuity. All in All had a great time, the energy of the place was a little weird because it brinked on being full and lively but fell flat as customers left and were not replaced by anyone else.
