Uncle Nicks

After reading tons of posts recommending Uncle Nicks, I finally made it there last night. It was just as great as all the posts said. Two of us got there around 9:45 or so, they were busy but not full so we basically got seated right away. The waiter was extremely friendly and helpful in choosing a wine, since i was unfamiliar with greek wines but wanted to try one. Of course I forget which wine we ended up getting but i liked it. We started with a small greek salad, plenty big for two people. There were tons of juicy tomatoes and cukes, fresh moist feta and delicious grape leaves. We didnt finish the salad. Boyfriend had the swordfish with rice, it was very simple, as expected, and he was happy. I got the appetizer sampler which was way too much food but very good. I especially liked the octopus and the dips. I wasnt so impressed with the meatballs but the b.f. enjoyed them. I ended up taking most of it home, which is fine. I think this place is a great value, we spent $80 total and I'll have at least one more meal out of the leftovers.
