Last Sunday we went to Uncle Cheung's for dim sum per a recommendation from this board.
The menu is a Shanghai dim sum menu, very different then the cantonese dim sum served in Boston. They have some really funky smells in the place, the owner explained to us that it was what she called "stinky tofu" we didnt have any of that but I can tell you it really can stink up a room!
My favorite was the Radish Pastry which was a baked pastry with shredded radish inside and sesamee seeds outside. The pan fried noodles were also very good. One nice thing is most of the dishes come with their own special dipping sauces.
The only item that I didnt like was the Emerald Ravioli which was a green wrapper steamed dumpling that was filled with at least 50% dill. I guess its an acquired taste but for me one of those was a years supply of dill.
We took photos of every dish, still waiting for them back from one of my DC. I have posted the entire Shanghhai and Dim Sum menu to my blog though.
