After more than 15 trips, over a period of 6 months, the verdict is in. The kitchen has failed in its attempt to enter the into the bbq arena.
In fact, there’s been a significant decline in the quality of food. The meats and sides often arrive warm to room temp. The chicken is mushy; the brisket is dry and cardboardish. The ribs still pass the test, but the sausage is a disappointment.
Something is amiss in the kitchen. One would ask, “is anyone minding the shop?”
It looks like Uncle Billy is preparing for his demise. With the up coming condo project, it’s certain the place will not survive. A construction project in its backyard will be sure to deter regulars.
The place is already super-sized, but the crowd has not shown up.
The beer is ok.
