UES Italian - Pazzia

Hoping this place gets some more billing. Have now been here twice and the food is just terrific. Both time had the appetizer of carciofini ripieni, a stuffed artichoke heart backed and service w/an amazingly fresh tomato sauce. I would eat this every day if I could, so unique and delicious. Have tried 2 different pastas, the pizzoccheri and the spaghetti al pepperincino w/olive and artichoke pesto. Oh so yummy. And the desserts are amazing too. Haven't tried the pizzas but they looked quite good going to another table. So the ambiance leaves something to be desired ..Nice enough room but the italian love song on the track..yes, I said "the" since it was the same song playing over and over and over again..could drive you a bit mad if you pay attention but try not to. Not sure why but the place is always empty. They currently have a special on restaurant.com so I'm hoping some UESers go check it out before it falls the way of other places on 2nd Ave...www.pazzianyc.com
