Twin Cities Delis

Mitchell Gossman | Jun 21, 200402:24 PM

Is there a good deli in the Twin Cities area any more?

Zaroff's - closed before we had a chance.

Lincoln Del - Gone and missed, but they were pricey.

Brother's - Gone pretty much, although the skyway location, is that the same folks and is it any good?

Cecil's - Good, but kind of a drive from St. Cloud.

D. B Kaplan's at Butler Square - LONG gone and sorely missed.

Hemsing's in St. Cloud - Good, but closes WAY too early. You're not a true delicatessen if you close before midnight at the EARLIEST.

So is there a good one anywhere?

Honorable mention: Taxxi at the Hyatt downtown Minneapolis has excellent matzo ball soup.
