Turkish Walnuts

Necia | Dec 7, 201409:48 PM

Recently my husband and I were in Istanbul, Turkey. Walnuts were everywhere, in almost every dish, and though I have always hated walnuts because of their bitterness I loved the taste of these. They were lighter in color than the walnuts in the US and sweet with no bitterness. I bought two bags of pre-shelled Turkish walnuts and have kept them in the freezer but they're almost all gone now!
I have looked online but haven't been able to find Turkish walnuts anywhere. Can anyone please suggest where I can buy these?
Thank you so much!
