Turkey Parts @ Famous Foods

LotusRapper | Dec 22, 201406:50 PM     1

Just a FYI to those who are not familiar with FF. I went and stocked up on their non-medicated turkey parts yesterday. Didn't get a truckload's worth, but enough for two meals over the holidays (each feeding 4-5 persons).

What I got (all non-medicated):

2x full turkey breasts, bone-in @ $13.21/kg ($6/lb)
4x drumsticks (indiv. packed) @ $9.99/kg ($4.54/lb)
4x wings (2/pack) @ $9.99/kg ($4.54/lb)

I love plain roasted wings, I can gnaw through two just over a pint of beer :-)

What's nice is that by buying parts, not only is your prep & cooking times (much) shorter and your stress levels reduced on the day of the meal, but storage in your freezer is better accommodated (unless you're one of those people with a 48"-wide Sub-Zero that I envy).
