so we bought a premade turducken from lousiana. the directions call for 4.5 hrs covered at 325 degrees with the last hour uncovered. i've made turducken before years ago from scratch and remember it cooking more like 8-12 hours from 180-220. which is better method? all the methods call for 165 temp inside when done.
what's the difference? am worried about dryness of the turkey section.
