Who makes the best tuna salad for sandwiches?

devilham | Apr 3, 201508:19 AM

Was just chatting with a coworker about lunch options, and we both agree we like a good tuna salad sandwich, however, so many places mess this up. I prefer my tuna lightly dressed with mayo, but not too much, as wet tuna equals soggy bread, a huge turnoff for me. I had gotten one at a sandwich shop/market that I normally like (for other sandwiches) which was sadly terrible...too wet and oddly flavorless (I am not mentioning the shop's name because really everything else I get there is great...tuna just doesn't seem to be their thing), another joint in the North End that has fabulous sandwiches (Bricco) had a weird tuna sandwich, in which there was NO dressing, just that high quality tuna packed in oil...really nice tuna, so I am not knocking them, but not what I was looking for. So, what's your favorite go-to tuna salad spot? Anywhere is fair game, just curious as to who has the good stuff in and around Boston. Have at it CH'rs!
