Tsukiji fish market moving - will it affect restaurants?

johnandjane | Jul 22, 201805:28 PM     3

I had a reservation at Saito in Hong Kong on October 14th... just got an email from the restaurant cancelling it. They said with the market moving between October 10th and 16th - they couldn't guarantee the supply of fresh fish, and had decided to shut the restaurant in that time period.

I'm going to be in Tokyo October 10 - 13th - i hadn't made any dinner reservations yet - do you guys think the higher end sushi restaurants will also be closed in Tokyo in that time period?

Any input greatly appreciated...

Thanks...
