I'm an old member who hasn't been around much since having my baby last year. I was on maternity leave and then a research leave and I'm about to return to FT teaching next semester and I'm seriously freaking out about how to keep me and my spouse fed---PLUS the baby, who is a true chowhound. At thirty pounds and thirteen months, little dude is a serious foodie who can put away a ton of food. Last night, he completely destroyed a full plate of chana masala with garlic naan. He loves spices but nothing hot yet. If it were just the SO and I, I'd just get takeout more often but I'm much more picky about what the baby eats.
So, I got a slow cooker, finally, and need ideas for things I can make in it. They can be easy or more involved, as there will be times when both will be appropriate.
We do eat eggs sometimes, as well as cheese and other dairy products, but I'm very happy to get vegan ideas too. Thanks in advance!
