I have found over my Triscuit and Wheat Thins noshing career that some flavors are completely bland looking (no color at all) and some are dark and well done with tons of flavor.
For example; Cracked Pepper and Olive Oil Triscuits are pale looking but, the flavor is pretty good. My favorite Triscuit is currently the Rye and Caraway Seed, they're really well done and very flavorful. I also like the regular Wheat Thins where, at times, have had a good amount in the box with dark edges.
