Tripe lovers unite!

Just got an email from Il Fornaio announcing their Calabria dinner menu for March 1-14th. Included is Trippa cui Diavuliddi ($6.50) which is stewed tripe with cannellini beans and pecorino.

Had a disappointing Cau Cau at Polla Inka in Gardena last week - tasteless, watery and small portion - read later that they were closed for two days last month by the Health Dept. This was another incidence of waiting hours for water and a menu as well.

Any other Hound tripe favorites?
