Trip report

Chickened out of eating at El Gaucho and went to Morton's. Prices are much kinder at Morton's which is not to say cheap. You always know what you get.
Higgins- missed the lunch hour and had lunch in the "bar". Burger okay, open-faced pastrami okay, smoked seafood salad okay. Really just okay, which is not a great recommendation.
Heathman- dinner Grilled goatcheese (okay), duck salad (good), celery root salad (boring)
Tuna (good), Duck (very good), risotto (abysmal- crunchy not creamy) Waiter kind of odd.
A bit impressed with himself.
