Headed in to Paris for 4 nights. Trying to get a mix of neighborhoods, vibes and cuisines. Hoping for any commentary. We are 30-ish couple, and will be meeting friends on certain nights. I guess you could call us foodies. Generally interested in trying new things, but with only 4 nights in Paris, I feel like it would be a waste to stumble into something sub-par when a little planning solves that!
Restaurant Louis- for 4 people: based on John's rec. Less touristy, more up and coming and tasting menu.
Verjus- date night for 2: Picked over Spring
Paul Bert or Au Bourguignon du Marais- group of 5: looking for "classic Paris" vibe
Semilla- group of 4- I've seen the negative comments. Is it a food consistency issue or a crowd issue? I guess this is similar to Verjus?
Other: I have a random list of sweet shops, coffee places (good-espresso addicts!) and wine bars and will certainly share any positive feedback (or negative!)
We are also going to Reims for the day and I had made a lunch reservation at le Jardin at Les Crayeres. Does anyone know if this is a bad call/tourist trap? We may be better off finding a wine bar, but it seems they may not open until 5 (we will be hopping a train by that point.)
