Our weekend in Montreal is approaching, hoping to get some last minute tips. I'm vegetarian, rest of the group will eat mostly anything. Not looking for anything too spendy or stuffy. We're staying in Old Montreal, arriving Sat around lunch time. I was thinking L'Express to jump into some French Bistro action right away but would like a lunch option in Old Montreal in case we end up wanting to stay local after a long drive in. Also maybe a fun bar :)
Sat night I have ressies at Tiradito & Cadet. Preference?
Cold Room looks fun for a late night tipple.
Any good late night jazz clubs?
Sunday morning we're thinking of hitting the Atwater Market and picking up some treats for a picnic brunch. These spots sound great - any others I should add to the list? Satay Bros, Marmite Su'l Feu, La Fromagerie Hamel, Roule Ma Poule, Chocolats Geneviève Grandbois, Brulerie Aux Quatre Vents.
I'd love to do a little walking tour hitting up St. Viateur Bagels & Schwartz’s...any ideas of a good route or additional stops?
Sunday night I have dinner ressies at Damas & Hoogan et Beaufort. Preference?
Monday morning - breakfast at Olive & Gourmando before heading out.
