First trip to Angela's

cassoulady | Jun 13, 200808:59 AM     2

I know many have posted about this before, but I finally made it to Angela's and was lucky enough to go with a few people so I got to sample many dishes. The guacamole really is as good as people have said and has a great smoky quality that made it really unique. I also tried the ceviche tostada which shrimp, lettuce and queso freso and was really refreshing.
The chile rellanos were fantastic and unlike any I have had before- perfectly fried and not at all soggy. The mole was amazing! In fact, the mole was so good that I have spent the morning at work researching mole recipes trying to think how I could replicate it and the bottom line is, I don't think I can- theirs is just too good.
So If you have not been, I highly recommend a trip. The sauces really are sublime and are worth trying.
