Triangle: Several cravings

Nab | Aug 22, 2005 12:36 PM

I've been missing some food things in my life that I haven't found here yet, and frankly have not made the effort to search for.

1) Shepherd's Pie (this means lamb, not ground beef, and preferably chunks not ground). I tried it at Tyler's recently where they use ground lamb, and it was okay but not great. Kinda boring, that's all.

2) Jewish/Kosher Deli. Looking for chopped liver, pastrami sammiches, matzoh ball soup, all that good stuff.

3) Portugese food. Anything around here ? Looking for the downhome meal-type places, but the tapas-style would do also. Prefer the mom'n'pop type places and not some swank tapas restaurant where everybody is on a date.

4) Korean bbq.

5) Oxtail or goat stew.

6) Cuban sandwich.

I think I'll leave it at that for now. Appreciate any insight y'all might have. It's getting to be a dire situation that needs to be addressed, as I've neglected it far too long now.
