Travel Recommendations: San Antonio to the CIA in Hyde Park, NY

PennyG | Oct 30, 201611:40 AM     17

I am interested in signing up for one of the CIA's Boot Camps in Hyde Park, NY and want to start pricing out my trip. Was thinking of flying up myself for the Boot Camp then having Mr. PennyG meet me for a few days in New York City after Boot Camp (which I believe is MON-FRI).

I am looking to do this in the Spring. Neither of us have been to New York before. Is my best bet to fly into NYC and get from there to Hyde Park? If so, what is my best bet for transportation between NYC and Hyde Park?

Also, if anybody knows (haven't done a lot of research myself yet), I thought I read somewhere (here or elsewhere) that CIA Boot Camp students can stay in the dorms on the CIA campus, but when I did a quick glance at the CIA site recently, I didn't see anything about that. It just provides a list of nearby hotels. Does anybody know?

Thanks for any and all tips!
