Trattoria G - Sea Bright

Went for a sit down dinner a few nights ago and enjoyed it. It is a pizza place/restaurant that is BYO which always is nice. Pretty nice inside, it has a "Little Italy, NYC" feel to it. We went in and there were only a few customers but they all seemed to know the owner. The father of the owner was sitting at one of the tables reading the paper, they were speaking italian, the music was nice...just like Little Italy.

Food was pretty decent. We only ordered entrees which ended up being plenty. My wife had the chicken parm dinner with spaghetti and an asparagus/cheese soup. I had the Veal Alla Giovanni which is the chefs specialty and I had angel hair and a house salad. The chicken parm was nice size portion and had good taste. How can you mess up a chicken parm though? anyway it was overall pretty good. The Veal All Giovanni was delicious. I was served three veal medallions that were nice and tender. The veal was sauteed with mushrooms and a fresh rosemary cream wine sauce. The sauce was incredible. We both enjoyed our meals.

For dessert we had homemade zeppoles and a homemade cannoli. Both were great.

Price was not too bad. $37 for two dinners and dessert and BYO. We will go again.
