But how about a spatchcocked (flattened) one? Am I asking for trouble? I know it will be very hot to handle coming right out of the oven, and I do not have any idea how to devise a container that would be big enough to carry it safely. The bird is 13 lbs and it takes up all the space in the 18"x12" baking pan.
