I just tried Trader Joe's frozen creamy polenta. This is probably the 2nd -3rd time I have ever had polenta an the last time was made fresh at an Italian restaurant a very long time ago. Am I missing something because I thought TJ's was very bland and lacked any flavor at all. I added some grated parmesan to it but it was still bland. Is this the way polenta is meant to be......plain and boring?
