Last week in Palm Springs, we made a stop at Townie Bagels as our first morning errand.

Luckily, we wore the correct apparel for entry. Including optional underwear.

These are real boiled bagels, not faux steamed ones. The chew and glossy crust attest to that.

One friend tried the Everything bagel as an egg sandwich. Nice how the fried egg yolk aligns perfectly with the round hole.

For me, the onion and poppyseed bialy spread with red pepper and chive hummus for a hot breakfast sandwich.

The crusty, organic breads on the shelf looked good too. Apologies for this bad photo of the daily baking schedule, but the part's that legible may prove useful, as the information is not on the bakery's website.
