Out-of-towners need food, bar, club advice

A regular reader of the Boston board needs your advice...

A buddy of mine and I (one a Yankee fan, one a Red Sox fan) will be arriving Friday night and staying until Sunday. (We have tickets to Saturday's game). We're staying at the Kitano hotel at Park and 38th Street, and need recommendations for the following:

1. Great moderately priced American food -- even pub fare would be fine -- at a place where we can watch Friday night's game on TV in a cool sports environment. (Maybe a great sports bar?)

2. Comedy club or something similar for late night on Friday.

3. Great moderately priced food (American or otherwise) where we can get dinner on Saturday night.

4. Solid recommendations for cocktails in the area around the hotel (or in the areas where you recommend restaurants) or just really fun bars.

Places close to the hotel are ideal, but distance isn't really an issue. (We're bringing plenty of cab fare!)
