I appreciate all the suggestions for our two meals in Old Town this weekend. We did the five course menu at the Chef's Tasting Room at Restaurant Eve Friday night. As suggested by some of you local hounds, the splurge was well worth it! As the "5 course tasting menu" included a 4 item canape plate, amuse, and 4 item petit fours plate (in addition to the 5 courses) I do not have time to tell you how amazing it all was. Our lunch at Southside 815 was also great, but obviously a bit different. The Dixie Chicken sandwich and 815 biscuits were a big hit. Thanks again for your suggestions!
