Here is the email that was sent out by the owners of Touch of Hungary restaurant, formerly of College Point, Queens:

Dear Everyone,

we have received many messages asking about our new location.

As per the owners request we took over the kitchen at the "First Hungarian Literary Society" in Manhattan. It's a club where members come to play cards and have dinner as well.
However, the club allows non-members to come and eat as well - the only condition is that non-members can only come in by RESERVATIONS only.

Our menu has all the basic traditional hungarian dishes as we had at the restaurant, and in addition we also serve a couple fish entrees, and roast duck among others. We also have a larger selection of desserts.

And now the details:
First Hungarian Literary Society
323 East 79th Street
Manhattan, NY
Tel: 212 508 0778 or 212 288 0615

The club is open 6 days a week (closed on Thursdays).
Dinner starts after 5pm. The club closes at midnight, except on Sunday when it closes at 8pm.
There is a Price Fix menu for $16/ person, which includes an appetizer, soup, salad, main course, dessert and coffee or tea (there is a $2 surcharge for fish or duck entrees). You can also order a la carte.
The best days to come are Monday, Tuesday and Saturday. Although tables might be available on the other days as well.

To make reservations, please call the above numbers Friday - Wednesday after 1pm.

Please remember, you need RESERVATIONS to come in.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Julianna and Andrea
