Where is the best place in SF to buy good corn tortillas (thick, with the real aroma of corn masa) and freshly made tamales to take home? I am assuming they would both be found in the same place. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I presume some place in the Mission.
Also, does huitlacoche (Oxacan corn fungus) even exist in SF? If so, where is a place I could eat it in a dish, or buy some to take home? I'd like to experience it.
