What about package tortillas does anyone know anything about the preservatives they use: how long they last?

what about refrigerated tortillas as opposed to the ones on dry shelf?do they last half as long dry?
I never have any problem with mold or anything on them and I don't understand that cuz I leave them in the fridge forever and a day. the ones with the worst packaging of course dry out but the ones that are in sealed bags seem like they could last until the next ice age. I am talking about flour tortillas. The corn tortillas seem to be more telling that they are past their due date and I don't know if I already ask this but what is the preservative used in this
