Where Can I Get a Tortilla Press in Chicago?

Bacchus | Feb 5, 200310:35 AM

I was at the Maxwell Street Market on Sunday enjoying the sites and fine mexican cuisine (BTW, I finally walked far enough south to find the "Masa Lady" and tasted one of her steak tacos on a fresh tortilla...loved it!) and got a glance of several types of presses used to flatten the masa mixture for use in quesadillas, etc. My first attempt a few weeks ago at making fresh gorditas at home without any equipment resulted in a fairly tasty, but visual unappealing gorditas. I would like to try again this weekend with a fresh batch of masa and a good press. Where can I get them in Chicago (closer to the South Loop the better)? Is one type preferred over others? Thanks in advance for all responses!
