these two items have me so excited...
with health regulations taking most of the credit for preventing more interesting street food, the reality is that many other cities have been able to offer a diverse set of options with little reprecussions. maybe now that we don't have a mayor connected to shopsy's, we can truly embrace our multitudes of ethnicities and offer gyros, samosas and everything else i can eat with one hand on our curb sides.
torontonians, are you excited? will this just go down in flames because of bureaucracy? what fantastic street foods are coming out of other cities that we could perhaps adopt?
i've heard news of growing difficulties for street vendors in nyc... i hope we don't go backwards.
