Toronto: rare ethnic places?

Peter Zinn | Feb 7, 2003 08:24 PM

Any recommendations for non-mainstream ethnical restaurants?

I know, 'mainstream' for Toronto is a rather large notion, ranging from Polish to Korean, etc. Though I do like to eat at those places, I'm always in for new experiences, like last weeks Tibetan. So if you know a nice Cambodian, Peruvian, Malian, or whatever restaurant I would be very pleased to know. Lesser-known regional varieties (I heard there is Northern Chinese dim sum as well, wonder what's the difference) would be great too.

Preferably inexpensive unless it's very special. I don't really care about atmosphere.
