My lovely friend brought me back a bag of pasta seasoning from her trip to Italy: sliced garlic, parsley, and crushed peppers, all dried, that you toss with pasta water and oil, or even just sprinkle on after cooking. The package is labelled "aglio olio & peperoncino" and is made by Ficari. I'm sure I could try to make it if desperate, but the proportions are really spot-on.
I'm totally addicted, and almost out, and would love to pick some up in Toronto. Has anyone seen this stuff?
