I have been living in Paris for the last few months and already feel a little disconnected from the Toronto culinary scene. I would appreciate any updates on new places (good or bad), changes to old places (good or bad), etc.
For example, I have a feeling that Patrick Lin may no longer be the chef at our favourite restaurant, Hemispheres. Does anybody know anything about this? I will be back in Toronto for a week in February and my wife and I are planning our Valentines Day dinner there...
Also, before I left, there was a rumour about Rob Feenie (from Lumiere in Vancouver) wanting to open a place in Toronto. Any updates?
BTW, I will be posting a summary of all my wonderful Parisian finds on the International board shortly...
