Tom Katz - Springboro, OH (near Dayton)

We finally tried this place tonight; it's off I75 at the Route 73 exit for anyone who may be interested. We had been talking about it since it opened (a few weeks ago, I believe), but we put it off because we thought it was going to be yet another burger/wing joint. But it's not just that! They have a very interesting and tasty menu. I had a chicken salad (that was enormous) with diced apples, cranberries, mixed greens, and an amazing creamy maple vinagerette. My husband had the duck breast which he said was delicious. We both had the mashed cauliflower - 2 thumbs up! The beer list is impressive, and the wine list didn't look half bad either. More props go to dessert menu. We had creme brulee which is torched just right and still remained cool and firm. (After some of the creme brulee we've had around here, it was a welcome treat.) Just an FYI, they are open for business from 11-10 on weeknights and 11-11 (I think) on weekends. Overall, it was a very satisfying meal with good service and good food.
