I can understand if a restaurant is known for having one signature dish, or if the restaurant is extremely expensive and you can't afford to make a mistake, but what is up with the legions of people asking not only to be told where to eat, but what to order? Doesn't someone have to actually just order what looks good to them on the menu to discover what treasures (or lack thereof) a restaurant holds? And what about specials? Those can't always be predicted. Maybe I'm just more adventurous than average.
