Am looking at the following options:
1. Yakitori Omino
A couple are Torishiki disciples so how do they fare against each other?
Tempura (old school)
2. Mikawa Zenzakyo
Browsing through threads and elsewhere, I read that the vegetables at Fukamachi are better but the seafood (with the exception of the uni), especially the anago at Mikawa Zanzankyo is better. Is this correct? Fukamachi is also more competively priced I believe.
3. Ryou - this I understand does sake pairing but I am interested more in the quality of the food vis-a-vis the others
I have been to Obana but don't really appreciate the queuing so comments vs that appreciated.
Also, when is unagi season? If i am not going to be there during the prime season, is there much point of going to an unagi specialist?
All other comparisons, preferences and suggestions appreciated.
Thanks so much
