Hi All,

I'm sure this topic has been beaten to death, but I'm looking for an amazing, Michelin star Japanese restaurant to go to with my wife and sister in law while in Tokyo in December.

I'm going to avoid nigiri only sushi places like Jiro since there will be 3 of us and would like to enjoy the meal together as a group.

I'm not looking for forward, fusiony or avant garde like places, but not super minimalistic either. Something unique with seasonal items, cooked items, sashimi/sushi, grilled fish, etc. I went through the 3 star Michelin (and also was recommended one 2 star below from friend) and choose the ones which looked the most appealing to me. Open to suggestions to other restaurants and places to skip. My budget is around ~300pp, can stretch slightly if necessary. I'll also be in Kyoto as well and open to suggestions for that city as well.
