Hi all,
I’ve scoured through all the chowhound and reddit posts regarding this, but I’m hoping to get some direct feedback on the restaurants we’re planning to visit.
My husband and I have been to Japan every year for the past 4 years, but this time will be our first with our 4.5 month old son.
In the past we have been to many Michelin starred sushi restaurants and other fine dining establishments in Tokyo, but I know this is out of the question with a baby. We’d like to still eat some relatively good sushi outside of conveyor belt and sushizanmai. Are there any options for this at all?? Would love some sushi and tempura recos
I’ve listed below the restaurants we plan to visit. Please let me know if these are baby friendly and if you guys have any other restaurant /travel recommendations!
- kura sushi
- shabuzen
- butagumi
- hitsumabishi bincho
- seizuyan
- yakiniku a five
- tsukiji maguroya Tokyo honten
- matsugen ebisu
- jojoen
- torigin honten
- kisaburo nojo
- shin udon
- kushiwakamaru
- namiki yabusoba
- tempura fukamachi
Some of the family restos we’ve been to:
- sushizanmai
- saizeria
- genki sushi
Thank you!!
