Finally got to Toa Toa - recommended as Best of 2002 by NewTimes - No way Hounds. The only similarities? They all cook Hong Kong Style. Not even close.
Incidently, I had an incredible Chow Fun Beef with Onions and Peppers in Black Bean Sauce at The China Dumpling in Boynton Beach. One of the best dishes I have ever had and we're talking 1500 meals over 50 years.
The thing about China Dumpling is their noodle and dumpling dishes are great because they make them all on the premises - you can check them out in their open noodle factory. I've had some of their traditional Cantonese style dishes and they are very, very good but the duumplings and broad noodle dishes are truly incredible. A bit pricier than the great places in Ft. Lauderdale, but well, well worth it.
