Should you tip the owner?

Raffles | Feb 3, 201510:05 AM

With the discussion about tipping going on as far as a living wage is concerned....

We frequent a local bar/restaurant and often times the owner is both bartender and waitress. Other times there is hired help.

So if we assume the owner is getting a living wage, should we tip her?

So if the hired help is not getting a living wage, because she only works a few days a week, should we tip her more? ( I have no idea what her hourly pay is)

We rarely get buy backs, as we rarely have more than 2 beers because of the driving thing, from either the owner or help.

Is a living wage really something everyone should get? I think not.
