Tiny black dots in Le Creuset?

My LC dutch oven is a few months old and I've been careful to treat it well (med high heat or lower, no metal utensils, etc.). Well, I made a pot roast the other day and when I was cleaning the pot I noticed two or three very tiny black dots on the surface of the enamel. At first I thought they were food residue, but they don't come off. . . even with LC's special cleaner. It's possible that they were always there and I just never noticed until now.

So my question is this: should I bother with exchanging the pot or is this just a superficial "blemish" that won't lead to other problems like chipping, cracking, etc.?
