Tin flakes off from the copper cookware

RunBe4UFly | Sep 20, 200708:41 AM     4

I just got a tin-lined copper cookware, it's a winsor pan and it's 'hammered' to creat dents on the surface of the cookware (for reason I don't remember any more). Anyway, after I used it once, I noticed there is a small dot of copper exposed inside of the pan. I guess the tin lining must come off somehow. After second use, I noticed there are now three dots of copper exposed. With this rate, I guess soon this pan will be pure copper pan. Does anyone has experience to maintain the tin-lined copper pan? It's really a nice pan with 3mm copper and 0.5mm tin lining. I hate to return it to the store as I got it cheap.
